Tour 1

Namibia via Caprivi to Botswana Vic Falls

The Caprivi Strip has far more in common with the well-watered areas to the north than it does with the remainder of Namibia. Much of the region is flat, essentially featureless and blanketed in broad-leaves woodland, but it has been blessed with a number of tropical rivers, most famous of which are the Okavango and the Zambezi. Shortly after traversing the Caprivi strip, the Okavango River meanders into Botswana through the Okavango Delta's upper reaches, commonly known as the Okavango Panhandle. Dominated by the dry woodlands of the Kalahari Desert, Botswana boasts a popular combination of wonderful wilderness landscapes, abundant wildlife, and good infastructure. For many visitors, the enormity and solitude of Botswana's arid interior leave as great an impression as the bird-filled, game-studded swamps of the Okavango Delta.

Tour 2

North Namibia to Botswana and Vicfalls

For most visitors to the country, northern Namibia means Etosha National Park. Boasting prolific mammals and birds, plentiful waterholes ( three of which are floodlit after dark), and an excellent road network, this unique game reserve is understandably one of the highlights of a visit to southern Africa. Etosha is undoubtedly the area's main attraction , it is by no means its only one. With its unspoiled wilderness and promise of adventure, Botswana is one of the last remaining safari destinations in Africa where you still experience nature as the early explorers did.
