The bird and birder friendly award owls

The bird and birder friendly award system works similar to the well-known quality rating system for hotels/ establishments (stars). Up to three bird and birder friendly award owls can be obtained. A judge will visit applicants for an assessment and the result of his/her report determines the number of owls displayed. Similar to the star rating system, establishments may display the owl emblem at their entrance, in their brochures, on their website, etc. The bird and birder friendly awards will prove to be to your and nature's advantage as holidaymakers will hence be able to choose their lodge, guest farm, hotel, bed and breakfast etc. according to the number of owls.
