Australia, is the world's smallest continent. but biggest Island in the world. The Australian mainland has been inhabited for more than 42.000 years by Indigenous Australians. The capital city is Canberra, located in the Australian Capital Territory. The population is just over 21 million, with approximately 60 % of the population concentrated in and around the mainland state capitals of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide.

 

The name "Australia" is derived from the Lain Australis, meaning "Southern". Legends of a unknown land of the south dating back to the Roman times. Australia with its waterways has some fantastic fresh seafood which is cooked in a variety of unique ways. The most popular seafood indulgence are Crayfish and Barramundi.
